The Foundation
Fulfilling the final wishes of the late Ms. Gertrude Guok, the Guok Foundation was established by her nephew and estate trustee, Joshua Guok. The Foundation was created to honor the memory of Ms. Guok’s parents, Rev. (Canon) Guok Koh Muo and Tan Loke Mui. Guided by a vision of continued service, the Foundation proudly follows in the exemplary philanthropic footsteps of Rev. (Canon) Guok, sustaining his legacy of charitable work for future generations.
The Guok Foundation is a private Christian charitable organization, registered with and regulated by the Commissioner of Charities (COC) in Singapore.

Joshua Guok
Chairman and Director
Joshua is the nephew of Gertrude Guok. He has significant experience in hospitality management having been involved with the family-owned hotels and real estate business in Australia for over twenty years. He has a Bachelor of Hotel Management and a Master of Professional Accounting.

James Guok
Director
James is the brother of Gertrude Guok and father of Joshua Guok. He pursued architecture in Australia and worked closely with Gertrude, to manage the family’s real estate and transportation business operations in Southeast Asia and Australia. Like his father and sister, James has been actively involved with philanthropy within the Christian community and other charities.

Katherine Ho
Director
Katherine has been involved in ministry work for over twenty years, participating in the Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ, OM International, Chapel of Christ Our Hope and Mission Aviation Fellowship Singapore. Other than a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Katherine also has a Master of Divinity and is trained in church ministries, pastoral counselling and clinical pastoral education.
